Do you have an interest in industry market and its development? If your answer is yes and you have experience in the field, then you have a chance to become a vital part of the global department working out of Solar Polska. Answering the demands of the growing Commercial Market Industry Organisation within Solar, we are looking for a Market Expert who wants to support and contribute to the development the global setup for Solar Group.
What will you be doing you ask?
As a Market Expert, you will work on expanding the Solar position in the infrastructure industry, by participating in various strategy development initiatives and their subsequent execution. You will cooperate with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders including Sales, Category Management, Marketing and Suppliers. Moreover, you will monitor revenue and earnings development in the segment as well as make proposals for further optimisation of the sales. Additionally, you will keep up to date with market developments and acquire market and customer insight. You will take part in various projects including the vendor launch and campaigning activities. Finally, you will have pricing tasks ranging from tender involvement to daily pricing clearance. You will work from office in Poland with direct reporting to Market Manager Industry & Offshore in Denmark.
What do we wish to see in you?
We are looking for a committed, responsible and analytic person who has a high quality oriented approach and who is able to work both in teams and independently. You have some years of professional experience within sales or in a similar position and preferably a bachelor’s or master’s degree, or have an educational background that matches the job. As a Market Expert, you need to show interest in market management, analysis and build up solid competences within the field. You have a holistic approach to the entire sales function and have good communication skills. You must also strive for an optimal dialogue with sales, sourcing, supply, finance, marketing, margin management as well as other centrally located colleagues. Moreover, you have project and time management skills. Having an experience in working in a virtual global organisation you should show a high level of flexibility and cross-country understanding. Since our corporate language is English, you are expected to speak and write it fluently.
Regarding IT skills, we expect you to be a super user in Excel, Power Point. Experience with BI would be an advantage.
