We are looking for a Material Planning Specialist who wants to develop and support organization in our Shared Service Centre. You will get unique opportunity to be a part of a team and together with them develop a leading shared Material Planning department within a global company.
What will you be doing you ask?
Your primary task will be to evaluate inventory on our different central warehouses to ensure continuity of supply using customer forecasts and historical sales. You will manage purchase orders based on material requirements, availability and pricing as well as execute various data analyses supporting decision making process. Your scope of duties will also contain demand and supply planning for a defined materials range (short/mid term horizon) including very close cooperation with local/country planning counterpart. It will be also your responsibility to ensure high delivery capacity and correct stock level. We will enable you to participate in various DMAIC and Lean projects focused to improve processes, tools and operational costs level.
What do we wish to see in you?
We’re looking for an enthusiastic, committed and open minded person who wants to step in and be a part of a team working in international environment. You have a relevant master degree combined with at least few years of professional experience within the demand planning and purchasing area. As a person you are team player, have strong analytical approach and the ability to think outside the box. It is important that you are customer oriented, flexible and service minded, and since our corporate language is English, you are expected to speak and write it fluently.
Regarding IT skills, we expect you to have well developed Excel skills (practical VBA knowledge will be an advantage) and to be experienced in ERP & MRP systems, preferably SAP.
